Where are stage tables located?

Stage tables are located in the OneStream Workflow section found on the OnePlace tab. This area is specifically designed to manage and process data as it moves through various stages in the application. The OneStream Workflow functionality plays a critical role in data integration, transformation, and loading processes.

Stage tables serve as temporary holding areas for data before it's moved into the main application for further processing or reporting. By using the Workflow section for stage tables, OneStream ensures that the data processing is organized and that there are streamlined workflows in place, enhancing data integrity and efficiency throughout the application.

In contrast, the Cube Views, Dashboards, and Reports sections serve different purposes. Cube Views are primarily focused on displaying data in a multidimensional format, Dashboards provide visual insights and KPIs, and Reports are tailored for structured data output. None of these sections are intended for the preliminary processing and management of data, which is the primary function of stage tables.
